The Park’s Destiny is South

The Finn Hill Neighborhood Alliance (FHNA) representatives spent a beautiful afternoon today in Juanita Heights Park with Kirkland Mayor Amy Walen, King County Councilmember Rod Dembowski, City Councilmember Shelley Kloba, and Kirkland Parks Director Jenny Schroder exploring the potential to expand this wonderful neighborhood park and preserve more of our eastern hill side from development. It was a thrill to see a barred owl along the hike! This small park has come a long way since the first post.
