Dry, Dry, Dry Park

Meet Charlotte another neighbor and friend of the park.  We were in the park over Labor Day trimming blackberries and Indian plum branches along the path.  It is really dry.  There is an unmistakable color in the woods during late August and into September.  Green becomes so washed out and it looks like everything shrinks!

By the way, there is a great trailhead off of 124th street into Big Finn Hill Park that we walked through this weekend.  The trail winds into OO Denny Park.  There is a new trail map guide to OO Denny. We noticed how dry the park was there too.
