A Wet June Rolled In

It’ the first of June and we are into a 2nd week of drizzly weather. It’s good for new bare roots like the Vine Maples and Oceanspray planted in April.  They are all growing.  So is the ivy in the park, it is lush.  The path is muddy in the low seep area.  The salmon berry fruit is ready. The understory is becoming thicker and harder to see through.
