Lady, Holly & Kimba

Neighbor and friend of the park. Lonnie has lived in the neighborhood for 40 years and has left about 20 years of footprints on the park path. Every street has people who personify community. Well, Lonnie is one of them. Our street has a fall picnic on her cul-de-sac. She spent her work life as a first grade teacher, she is an artist, a gardener, a dog lover and provides a sense of continuity and grounding on 89th. Lonnie absolutely loves Lady, Holly and Kimba. They are friends of the park who leave paw prints and no poop – Lonnie is a steller example of ‘pack your pup’s poop out of the park.’ She is a great, great lady, say hi if you see her on your walk!
