Park Stairs

Stairs Looking Up

Entrance to Juanita Heights Park is down a steep stairway. We keep the leaves off in the Autumn. There are handrails. The steps are in very good shape. It is confusing if you are a first visitor to the park to know that beyond the steps is a short trail that leads to a ¼ mile loop trail. It doesn’t matter which direction you take you’ll end up back at the same place. The left trail runs along the eastside of Finn Hill down to Juanita. The right side runs  south-west. Right now the east side of the trail next to the culverts is particularly muddy. We have conifer branches on the path. We really need to ask the city for small stones to cover this part of the trail.
